Well folks, it's been a long time in the making, but I finished the last of my course work at Bellevue University over the weekend. I need to satisfy 8 credits of open electives, but I'll CLEP out of those in the next few weeks. No more papers! No more projects! I want to extend a warm "thank you" to this board and all of its members. Had I not stumbled across this site a few years ago, I might still be looking around at different options.

I haven't decided what to CLEP just yet...something simple of course. I've looked at the sample questions to the Drug and Alcohol Abuse test and it looks pretty easy. I'm not sure about the other two. Suggestions?

A grad degree is next, I just don't know which one! The MBA would make more sense due to my career path, but I have little interest. I would love to do something in Biblical Studies, but that would be pretty much personal enrichment. I have no idea!!!

Congratulations! The Bachelors milestone provides the greatest satisfaction!
You could get a MS in Leadership from Southwestern College -- and then you'd be eligible to teach leadership courses as an online adjunct instructor. There are very few people with these narrowly focused academic credentials in leadership, so you'd be highly marketable. Then you could teach for your alma mater -- Bellevue University! ;)

Easy ones that you may pass with little to no effort-
    DANTES Ethics
    DANTES Here’s to you Health
    DANTES Tech Writing
    DANTES Intro to Business
    DANTES Intro to Computing
    DANTES Intro to Criminal Justice
    DANTES Intro to Law Enforcement

    If it's any 9 credits DSST/CLEP:

    1. Intro to Computing
    2. Technical Writing
    3. Personal Finance

Obviously, if you have strengths - then go in those areas.

    Congrats.

I second the "Heres to Your Health" test from DANTES.

Cake. Walk. I think the only other test that had a hire pass rate in the military was the Ethics in America exam.

Careful on the MBA front, I can tell you that if you are not committed to getting the degree (Its taking me almost 4 years) it will suck the life out of you. At some point when I got over the hump I just kept going out of pure spite. But, I can unequivocally say that I cannot stand it one bit.

Pick something that will really inhance your career, or do not do it at all. Read good books from the library and save your money.

    Nice job again.

    Congrats!

I found the Analyzing and Interpreting Literature CLEP to be a very easy 6 credits. No real study needed.
