No. No TEFL/TESOL "accreditor" is worth anything and almost all of them are fake fronts set up by TESOL companies themselves. There is no centralized accreditation system for TEFL and no one who hires for it cares. They only care that you have a college degree (usually a bachelors) and that you can speak English well, and that you have a certificate. But that's where the problem starts, because people get crummy certs from unknown places and pass them off as legit, and many schools in their desperation to fill teaching jobs hire these fraudulent cert holders.

As for this specific certificate, I doubt it's of any good quality for $40. A good quality TEFL/TESOL course is rigorous and has a cost that is commensurate to that, a master level cert even moreso. The best one going is through Arizona State University via Coursera. Rigorous, very interactive, and highly respected.

The only connection between Al Madinah U and Waidsum I could find is an MOU (memorandum of understanding) between Al Madinah U. and the Nigerian branch of Waidsum (branches in Nigeria, Malaysia and Singapore.)

    https://www.mediu.edu.my/news-events/mou-with-waidsum-university-nigeria/

Pretty big stretch to consider that an affiliation of (academic) significance ... at this stage.
Also, the English is flawed in several places in the President's address on the website. The university and another school called Waidsum Academy are owned by a parent co. called Waidsum Global Resources. Don't know what other businesses that co. might own.

This Uni probably has 96 of Dr. Levicoff's NIFI (Name it and frame it) criteria - and there are only 75 criteria in total , IIRC.
I can find no website for the Malaysian Waidsum U. - but it can be found on Twitter, Linked-In, Youtube and Facebook.

The Nigerian site has quite a few instances of faulty English - unforgivable, as they're appealing to English-speaking applicants. They even list entrance requirements for us Canadians.
WHOIS indicates the site registrant is the President of the Uni - This looks like a small number of people, though they offer a plethora of degrees right through doctorates. No faculty listings.

Address is: Plot Q18, Close 47, Off Road 4, Victoria Garden City, Lekki Pennisular, Lagos, Nigeria.

The Nigerian branch does not appear on their NUC (N ational Universities Commission) approved list, so...

That's all I have time for. After 14 years of free Internet, now I have to pay - and learn to use my Net-time profitably.
