    Tired today

I don't sleep much. To make matters worst, I sometimes have nightmares about Kim dying! I would like to thank all of you for your prayers and well wishes. Many people have reached out to me via pm, and it really helps. I am very religious, and i believe in the power of prayer.

Thanks for hearing me out. I don't do facebook, so this is kind of like FB for me. We are going to fight this thing! Lord help me!

Thanks Jenn. It is coming along slowly but surely. She only needs one more round of chemo. I guess at that point they will reassess to make sure the cancer has been stopped. She has a great medical team working for her! We just keep on praying. Thanks to everyone once again for your well wishes and prayers, it helps more than you think.

    The doc says..........

Kim is an "exceptional responder". In other words, she has no bad side effects from the chemo! She's tough. One more round to go.

Kim's hair fell out today so she buzzed it off. She has wigs and scarves ready to go! Losing her hair didn't even phase her! I thought it would because her trademark and sense of identity has always been tied to long red hair. What a trooper. The chemo still has not made her sick which has amazed the docs. One more round to go!

Thanks everyone for your prayers, comments and well wishes. I means more than you know. I have a feeling she is going to beat the cancer. She has great determination!

Good for her, hair can grow back!

Kim sounds like an amazing woman who's taking this fight head-on. You're a lucky man, Abner!

I was very attached to my hair but it wouldn't stay attached to me.

Aw, c'mon, it will grow back! I think your wife would be very touched by the gesture. I had to shave my head for military school, the Army, the police academy, and I did it once voluntarily for a cancer benefit.

It grew back every time.

I told my wife I was going to buzz my hair off, and she said "NO!, absolutely not". She said I will end up looking like a gang banger or a skin head or something. Well, I tried. I told my mom as well, and she said the same thing. We have a nephew who hangs out with gangs, and he buzzzes his head really short, it drives my mom crazy!

I tried! Kim put a wig on and went right back to work after chemo. She still hasn't got sick as far as nausea and such!
