Need to find a rare book: "I saw the Lord" by Wilbur R Ogilvie, 1952.

Does anybody have knowledge of where to find rare books from this time period? Any help would be VERY much appreciated.

Have you tried interlibrary loan? It's in some library somewhere.

Yes, there is only one small school that has it in ND. THey do not circulate it.

I never thought I would stump this board. :)

I have e-mailed the ND school, but am looking for any other options (they said it is not a circulating item). I tried the other links, to no avail. Thanks everyone for trying.... rats!!

Maybe the librarian at TBC could photograph each page - the book is only 31 pages (according to Google books).

I checked the British Library, Huntington, LA Library, and Library of Congress, amongst other places, and drew a blank also.

    Han,
Don't know if this will help, but here is a list of many of the antiquarian book stores in my neck of the woods of Massachusetts and Rhode Island. Maybe one of them will be able to help you? Good luck!

In several comparable circumstances, I've phoned the student employment office at a school, and was able to hire a student for about $20 for an hour, to go to the library, make a copy of what I wanted, and mail it to me.

As for book finding sites, I'd estimate that www.bookfinder.com works about 90% of the time for me ... but it sure doesn't on this one.

My experience is that Librarians are saints and will do almost anything to help you. I'd be surprised if you couldn't get a librarian to copy the book for you but Dr. Bear's suggestion trumps everything. For less than the price of the book you could get a student to mail copies to you.
