Any news? RDI stated this year, 2 year program in the 20K ball park. http://www.rdi.co.uk/distance-learning/distance-learning.html Looking-Looking-Looking // Waiting-Waiting-Waiting
It's on thier UK web site - no additional info, SEE ATTACHMENT - it's noted on a PDF titled Pathways. FILE TO LARGE TO UPLOAD (FYI)
Called RDI in Florida and according to them a DBA from University of Wales will be offered April 2010. Information will be on their website in Jan 2010.
In the 402 - 503 category according to ARWU. (That's for U. of Wales, Swansea.) US schools in that tier include Drexel, Montana State, and Northeastern. Wales is ranked in the 39-42 tier in the UK. Given the thousands of degree-granting universities in the world, this seems pretty good. The other Universities of Wales (like Newport and Lampeter) didn't make the list. By comparison, the University of Leicester is in the 152 - 200. Comparably ranked US schools include Nebraska, Miami, and Virginia Tech. Leicester is ranked in the 17 - 22 tier in the UK. In all such things, YMMV.
University of Wales is a system of schools, not a single university, correct? So depending which of the schools you attend, it would be ranked differently: http://www.wales.ac.uk/defaultpage.asp?page=E14 Ex, the ratings of some of Wales' schools in the EducationGuardian.co.uk University guide ratings (higher=better): Bangor 54.60 Aberystwyth 51.10 Swansea 45.90 Swansea Met 42.90 Lampeter 32.80 Of course this single ranking doesn't tell the whole story but demonstrates the ranking of each school may vary considerably from the others.
