Last night, in fantasy computer baseball, replaying the 1926 World Series, Yankees vs. Cardinals, he comes up for St. Louis in the 7th game, bottom of the 14th, tie score, two out, no one on. Lays down a perfect bunt; steals second; and scores on a Bottomley bloop single. And in the real world, one of Specs' two claims to fame is that he was the first infielder ever to play wearing glasses.
