    Hi,

Lets say I transferred 30 credits into a BS in I.T.
When I graduate the BS program, I imagine I would receive a paper diploma as well as student records like grades and such.
In these records are the transferred courses listed differently than the one completed in the last university ? or do they list all the courses/grades as if they were completed at the same university ?

    Thanks for your help.

I think it depends on the institute, Troy University does list the transfer credits.

When I transferred from Mesa State College in Grand Junction, Colorado, to Western State College in Gunnison, Colorado, after my junior year, Western State College listed my Mesa State College courses on their transcript, but they were listed differently, as transfer courses, without grades. Usually, when applying to grad schools (or applying for jobs, like teaching positions, that might require transcripts), one is asked to provide transcripts from each school attended, not just the school from which oe graduated.

TESC lists the actual course you transfer in- even if they don't apply it to your degree as such. For example, I transferred in the course CUL208 Food Cost Accounting, which appears on my TESC evaluation as "ACC199", however, on my real TESC transcript- it says "Food Cost Accounting CUL208, transfer credit". Hope that helps.

It depends on the school as well. I have been bouncing from George Mason University to Southern Methodist University and The George Washington University, and only Southern Methodist University asked me to provide my credit bank transcript from Thomas Edison State College. The GWU and GMU never asked me that, just only the transcript from Troy University.

Well, I am not sure about others, but that is my case.

Thanks for everybody's input, it did help.

I have previous international courses that I will probably have to get evaluated AGAIN. I just wanted to see if there was a way around it.

I actually have another question. I have a "baccalauréat général : Economique et social" french equivalent of a high school diploma + 1 year concentration in sociology and economy.

I didn't think of getting it evaluated last time but i've heard that McGill university gives nearly 30 credits for it. I know McGill is in Quebec and maybe there is some special agreement or something. I was just wondering if this was possible in the US. If anybody knows something... ? (I know its a long shot, I'll probably have to get the degree evaluated to be sure)
