I find that I can add a Computer Science endorsement to my Vermont teaching license if I take one or two more classes besides what I already have. I definitely need a class in the "social and ethical implications of computers and their related technology", and I may need a class about a current high-level computer language "used in current pedagogy"; I would be most interested in XML, Java, or Visual Basic for Applications. The characteristics of the class I would prefer would be: -Actual instruction of some kind, not just taking an exam -Online -Asyncronous, that is, I could begin it any time and complete it rapidly by working on it full time (since I'm on summer vacation). -Offered by a university with regional accreditation or foreign equivalent -At least 3 semester hours of credit per class Any suggestions?
