A curious thought crossed my mind today. Has anyone ever heard of anyone collecting diploma mill diplomas like some poeple collect baseball cards? If you had the money, it would be fun!

It would be interesting. One of the problems I have with degree mills is that it is putting money in the pockets of crooks. IMHO this interesting hobby would be rewarding the crooks. It could be justified though if it were also providing useful research material for example to the next edition of Bear's Guide .

Sure! Just do a search at google.com of your favorite degree mill and you will find numerous people who have made a hobby of collecting degree mill diplomas.

The only difference is that they list them on their resume! [IMG]

Sure. Hey, kids! Be the first one on your (cell) block to collect them all!! [IMG]

Rich Douglas, who worked in the kind of prisons they wouldn't dare send diploma mill wimps to.

It would be an easy hobby....

Just go down to the local office supply store, buy some blank certificate paper, get some cool looking gold seals, steal some logo's from the website of your favorite school, design something nice on your word processor, and run them through the laser printer.

Voila - You are your own instant diploma mill.
