Chrysler, UAW Promote St. Regis Degrees

    Hard to believe but..

    "Eight hundred workers at a Chrysler foundry in Indianapolis, Ind. have been told that they will loose their jobs in 2007 when the plant closes its doors for good. Many employees, looking to build their resumes now in preparation of the foundry’s closing, have sought to utilize Chrysler’s employee tuition assistance. In fact, Chrysler officials with help from the local UAW aim to help employees with their higher education pursuits by directing employees to St. Regis University, an online program based in Liberia, West Africa, reports WTHR, the NBC affiliate in Indianapolis."
