China unveils flying aircraft carrier. https://www.yahoo.com/news/articles/china-unveils-star-wars-space-060000884.html China has unveiled plans for a space carrier that can deploy unmanned fighter jets capable of firing missiles from the edge of the Earth’s atmosphere. State media released a concept video of the futuristic Luanniao, the world’s biggest warship, travelling through space above all current defensive systems. China claimed the carrier could become operational in 20 to 30 years’ time.
Missiles will be obsolete by then - lasers will be the weapon of choice. Space “mines” will be coming. One has to wonder how maneuverable it will be.
Assuming humanity survived, and alien mothership comes first, or returns. Imagine the number of flights it would take to get the material to build, in space. Consider the amount of material that re enters, once destroyed. A few orbital atomic bombs could render it useless. Apocalyptic
