Does anyone has any past experience or knowledge with this school? I am looking at the MA program in Industrial/Organizational Psychology. Please share your thoughts.

It's a well known accredited school. If you can afford the cost then I'd say that you've made a good choice.

Hmm... I thought this was one of the many campuses of the American School of Professional Psychology (which merged with the University of Sarasota and the Medical Institure of Minnesota some years ago to form Argosy University), but apparently it's not (the ASPP school was the Illinois School of Professional Psychology and not the Chicago School of Professional Psychology). Anyway, here are links to comments about both schools:

Argosy (Illinois School of Prof. Psychology):

Oh, and to add slightly to the confusion - there was another merger around the same time involving a "School of Professional Psychology": The California School of Professional Psychology with United States International University to form the RA, non-profit Alliant International University headquartered in San Diego, CA.

    Thanks for the replies.

I was myself confused a bit, because there is are schools in CA and MA, with the similar names. Cost is a big factor with CSPP, but the school does seem to have good name. Thanks again.

I spoke to an admissions advisor for that program a while back. He literally grilled me to see if I understood the intent of the program and if it was "right" for me. He told me (twice) that it was for business grad students interested in pursuing marketing and HR - not actual "psychology" in the liberal arts sense of the word. I told him my degree was in social science, and I was simply turning over all of the stones that looked interesting before I started sending out applications. I said the program sounded interesting, and that I have a good friend who earned their undergrad in IO Psych...but he cut me off. He clearly thought I wasn't right for the program and wouldn't send me information :)
