Capitol Technology University - New PhD in Industrial Hygiene

This program is still pending approval from Maryland's higher education regulatory agency, but Capitol Technology University has yet to have a program disapproved. The PhD in Industrial Hygiene overlaps their PhD in Occupational Health and Safety and PhD in Occupational Risk Management programs, but industrial hygiene is heavier on chemistry and biology because it focuses on chemical and biological hazards whereas occupational safety looks at ergonomics and slip, fall, noise, fire/explosion, heavy lifting, and transportation hazards in addition to addressing chemical and biological hazards at a cursory level.
