Wow. When my co-author Allen Ezell went there for his Associates, it was a small non-profit two-year junior college, largely established to teach business skills to farm workers. And now it's a billion-dollar thing.

    TEKMAN Semper Fi!

I am wondering what the name would be, or they keeps both institutions under one combined company. Maybe they should change their name to Capella Strayer University (CSU) or Strayer Capella University (SCU).

Strapella has a ring to it. Sounds like an Italian dish.

While I ended up at Charter Oak, I took five or so courses on campus at Strayer in the late '90s. All of them were solid but one, and when I spoke to the campus dean about the poor instructor of that one, he was gone next term. They're too expensive for me to recommend unreservedly, but if they're still as good as when I was there then one could certainly do worse than to end up there.

There have been worse name changes, such as Argosy, which sounds like a skin disease.

This is being done mainly to combine back-end administrative functions. Capella is primarily a graduate institution, while Strayer is an undergraduate institution.
