This was posted to "Off-topic discussions", and I think may not have got enough exposure.

http://courses.telecampus.edu, an extremely useful resource for finding distance-learning cources, "is no longer actively maintained; however, it is available as an archive. We are unable to ensure the accuracy of the information and data on this site and bear no responsibility for its contents. Note that the message board will no longer be active and inquiries will not be answered."

The Open University’s International Centre for Distance Learning (ICDL) http://www-icdl.open.ac.uk/ "ceases most of its activities from 1st April 2003 as its external funding has come to an end. Its database of distance-learning courses and institutions remains online but ‘frozen in time’ as it will no longer be updated and will be phased out in due course."

If not DegreeInfo, then who? Do we know anyone big enough?

Since the central issue seems to be funding I would be willing to make a one-time donation if someone or some group could pick this up.

I think we all need to work together on this. Degreeinfo can get/buy this and make it a part of "Featured Schools" as "Featured Ubiversities across the globe" or something.

Somebody need to step up and start a campaign to collect donations(only from those willing to pay) through something like paypal and maintain ICDL.
