Interesting post but nothing in the post backs it up and evidence so far points in other direction. This is not meant to be offensive but just to keep discussion on track. If Cal Coast were an ethical quality institution it would be fully acceptable to both Business and Academic Institutions. If you are saying it is ethical but of extreme low standard then I would agree. Either way it is a degree that is unacceptable to a potential student. Again if there is evidence that a Cal Coast degree is acceptable to a majority of Business and Academic Institutions it would be interesting to know.

    Dave,

It can be an ethical above-board institution, but still not be acceptable to academia. The "almighty dollar factor" comes into play here. (And for the business world two factors come in ... 1) The "good-ole" boys club and 2) Nothing to go on for standards so they have to assume the worst.)

I'm not endorsing or bashing the school, just making an observation.

    Hi Ellis

I think I used poor wording in my last post. State approved is likely ethical and maybe even above board but I would not call it a "truly solid" program. It was previously pointed out that a Cal Coast degree has almost no utility which makes it unacceptable to almost any potential student. I am not trying to be argumentative, I would just hate to see someone put out the effort and expense and end up with a degree of little value.

    Frangop,

I think I recall you saying you withdrew from the program some time back. Is that correct? If so, why did you withdraw?

    Cheers,

    George

    Dave,

No problem. I can't argue with your most recent post. :)
