Dover 'diploma mill' ordered to cease operations
Could't get to read it. That site was swathed in mandatory "surveys" and logins, passwords etc. Here's one that isn't.
Bright Rock Christian Academy ordered to stop offering diplomas - News - Dover Post - Dover, DE
Seems they were issuing unqualified High School Diplomas. Bad! Bad! Most Un-Christian!! I think God should punish them, but He probably has much else to do. Up to the Courts - they have the powa!
Thanks Kizmet - I shared it in my Delaware group. Programs like that sometimes go after homeschooling families to offer diplomas and GEDs. Though parent-issued homeschool diplomas are legal in all 50 states, parents are still fearful and can fall victim to programs like this. Thanks!
Unfortunate, but true. I maintain a list of non-accepted "high schools" with about 160 entries. Most of these are: 1) pay a fee (usually $200, sometimes more); 2) take an online "test" that is impossible to fail and 3) download your diploma (or have it sent via mail).
Hmmmm. We have been known to post lists such as that. Just sayin'
