I want to thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for your faith and confidence in me and for being willing to give me a second chance at redemption. When one is on the road to making changes in one's life it is critically important to receive support and encouragement from others. Your willingness to do so shows real Christian character and, I am grateful. Again, I thank you, Uncle Janko, not only for me but for literally hundreds of others in life who need an outreached hand in similar situations.

As Jimmy knows, I lurk over on aed. Most of the stuff over there is a waste of time these days. A couple of people yelling at each other (it gets rather nasty at times), a bunch of cheap shots at Rich AND a bunch of postings from Jimmy. I mean a big bunch. That's OK though, no problem as far as I'm concerned. It did take me more than a few minutes to review them, however. The most notable finding, in my mind, is that Jimmy seems to be willing to do virtually anything to get himself another degree. He's described his interest in applying to Vista, Stellenbosch, Free State (sigh), Western Cape, Rand Africaans, Rhodes, some nonsense about why he never enrolled at UNIZUL, that ridiculous stuff about applying to that school in Sweden, and then something else about checking out "a few schools in the Carribean." You never really answered that question about "Why Vista," you seemed to know nothing about the SA universities merger, you're "in conversation" with other schools who are also involved in the merger process, you say that you're through with non-accredited schools but you're enrolled in one now, no? You applied to that Swedish school without even knowing if you were eligible. Just because it's free. So you were planning to do the GSST program, the Swedish program AND one of the SA programs at the same time? For the most part I'm a "live and let live" guy. Jimmy can do whatever he wants and it's OK with me. When he splashes it all over these newsgroups however, he invites comments. If Jimmy just wanted to give some DL advice here and on aed (as he said) he could do that by registering anonymously and not talking about himself at all. That's not his goal however (IMHO). He needs to have his name right up thereon top of each posting and he needs to have all his degrees listed in his signature and he needs to make sure that everyone knows that he's going for his nth doctoral degree (by the way Jimmy, what happened to that DSW in your signature line?) So Jimmy, I'm leaving the past in the past as you've requested. You've started with a clean slate as far as I'm concerned. I have to tell you though that you're messing up that slate already. BTW, I'm curious about how you got your LCSW - sneak in the backdoor through some sort of lame "grandfathering" clause?

    Jimmy,

Please do not post here, on AED or anywhere else.

Your past, present and future escapades are highly embarrassing.

Your posts are incoherent and contradictory.

    Just go away.

Wow! For a new member with 12 posts under their belt that was really antagonistic. Or, are you an old poster with a new name?

I did not express myself clearly. Sorry. Let me rephrase:

    Shit.

Re: AABC does not accredit seminary/grad programs

Unfortunately for Bethany Divinity School I am not sure how much of an option TRACS is going to be in terms of graduate programs. As I recall, BTS had attempted that once before and things did not go well and they withdrew from the process. They and Trinity Theological Seminary did not achieve TRACS accreditation.

You have to give BDS this....they are not trying to get accreditation from the University of Liverpool. If they can get AABC accreditation then this will at least help their undergraduate students.

You Lutherans seem obsessed with the stuff. I always thought that the WLS was a little anal retentive anyway.

There is a story (whether true or R. Catholic propaganda) that Martin Luther used to enjoy saving his up for a nice big one every few days.

The eclectic conversation between Gus, Uncle Janko and Jimmy is a matter of their own delight. Since these "experts in the field" can't agree to disagree, it appears they are disagreeing to disagree. ;)

An observation regarding Bethany Divinity College and Seminary in Dothan, Alabama, which, as we all know is not RA.

Bethany has met the educational needs of myriad Independent Baptists, most of whom pursued training for the pastorate. Bethany degrees have been approved and accepted by IB churches, ministers and by other IB educational institutions for further studies. IIRC, Uncle Janko has stated that much of the educational training within his particular ecclesiastical fellowship is completed at a non-RA school, one which is approved by his fellowship. Other denominations/fellowships also have approved Bible Colleges/Seminaries, which are not RA, but from which they approve or recognize degrees for the educational needs of their ministers.

    Hi, Mr. Tracey,

Thank you for taking time out of your busy, hectic, productive, successful, well-organized, time-managed and prioritized life to grant me a little of your time. I hope to continue being worthy of your attention.

And I have either linked to it or stated Dothan, AL. Anyone can pull up a link or do a search, I hope.

No one has ever accused you of being slow to change things when you are caught with your pants down, Jimmy (Web sites and entire discussion groups have been known to vanish into thin air). It’s just that it happens so frequently that some of us wonder why you try so hard to maintain the illusion that you are wearing any pants at all. :D

Hi Vladica: I have no quarrel with Bethany of Dothan. It looks way below average, but I don't know that it is corrupt. If independent Baptists find it good enough for their needs, then it's good enough for their needs. I dimly recall that Levicoff went after them and that he may well have had the goods on them, but I don't remember. Clifton is awful. Don't confuse the issue by dragging Bethany of Dothan into it. They may just be another innocent institutional bystander along his path to glory.

    Does it matter?

    Clifton still needs to go.
How did he get back into this forum?
    His educational pursuits are sickening.

In fairness, when Jimmy's bio on his website stated that his degrees were from "Bethany Theological Seminary" it did specify "Dothan, Alabama." Though this remains confusing to lay people (such as myself) not overly familiar with these institutions (yet familiar with some of the names).

I think we are being too harsh. If Jimmy wants a fresh start, why not let him have it? After all, he could simply have come back under a fake name or a nickname (e.g "oxpecker").
