    B.A.A.S. degree - https://baas.unt.edu/

Looks like a hybrid its BAA and BASc combined degree.

"With eight concentrations in administration, organizational supervision, social wellness and community, hospitality, media innovation, consumer behavior, data analytics, and information technology,

The Bachelor of Applied Arts and Sciences (BAAS) programs at the University of North Texas provide you a direct path to a fully accredited bachelor’s degree if you have:
    • Completed course work for technical, applied or military credit
    • A technical or applied degree from a community or technical college"
There are two B.A.A.S. Degree options; the B.A.A.S. On Campus (in Denton or UNT at Frisco) and the B.A.A.S. Fully Online on Coursera platform; Students can take up to 3 classes per 8 week term.

    https://www.coursera.org/degrees/unt-online-bachelor-completion

UNT is one of the nation's largest universities, with 113 bachelor's, 94 master's and 37 doctoral degree programs.

What are the Pros and Cons for earning Applied Arts and Applied Science vs more streamline BA and BSc?

Is "Applied" more practical as applied to work or industry vs more theoretic ?
Are BAAS type degrees viewed as more as professional/vocational?

Depending on what career you want, a BAAS might sound better than a BALS. Liberal Studies/General Studies degrees have a bad rap as degrees that are, essentially, handed out like candy. This isn't true, but having a BAAS might look better on some resumes, regardless.

At first, I've considered this program. Then I realized they require lots of RA credits! no ACE accepted other than Google IT Cert.
Also, lots of credits need to be taken through UNT online. If I remember correctly, it's between 45 to 56. Some courses are unique at UNT so they can't be transferred in.

It's not a cheap option at all.
The degree's title is vague ... 'BAAS' degree is usually offered through continuing education / adult learning departments.

so I gave up on this.
