Is there a difference between a bachelor of science degree and a bachelor of arts degree? In some schools, a business degree is a B.S. while in other schools, it is a B.A. This holds true for other degrees as well (criminal justice, health psy ed, consumer management, ect). This raises at least three questions: In today’s academia, have the differences between a B.S. and a B.A. become indistinguishable? In the old days, what was the difference between the two degrees? What led to the creation of these two different educational titles? Does anyone know?
