    Lowell,

Congratulations on your achievement! Reading messages like this is my favorite part of this board. Enjoy a well-deserved break before the master's bug bites!

Thanks! I'm ready for a break from school and, more importantly, SWMBO is ready for me to take one. I have to admit that I have been looking at some M.S. Information Assurance programs. But don't tell my wife. ;)

    Cheers,

    Lowell

SWMBO: I've seen David Feherty use this. Priceless! (And sacrosanct.) Advice: break into the new one slowly, mentioning it and its benefits. Be cool, and be open. Ultimately, you'll need explicit approval. I thought I had it when enrolling in my most recent academic program, but I didn't. That was one cold dinner when it became clear!

Thank you, Bruce. Yes, I have been thinking about graduate programs. Though when I will be able to do more than just think about them is an open question. I'll have to pare down that honey-do list quite a bit before I raise the subject of a graduate program to my wife. She was patient and supportive while I worked on my bachelor's degree, so finishing some projects for her is the least I can do.

    Cheers,

It feels fantastic to have finished a degree program! I am ready for a break and I have much to do around my home. I ignored all but the most important maintenance projects so I could focus on my studies. Time to pay the piper, as it were.

    Cheers,

Thank you! I think that I will eventually make it to graduate school. Right now though, I'm ready for a break from deadlines and exams. I truly enjoy school, so I'm sure that I will eventually get back to it.

    Cheers,

    Lowell

Thanks for the advice. I think she knows that there's a graduate school in my, er, our future. She just doesn't want to hear about it now. And I know what you mean about "one cold dinner" having had a few of those myself. Getting her endorsement prior to enrolling in a graduate program will be key.

    Cheers,

    Lowell
