I'm starting the second half of my training for SNHU and was wondering if anyone has experience teaching for them? Once I finish the training, can I expect to get a class right away (I've been approved for 2 courses)? Do you usually teach 2 at a time? Is it consistent - every 8 week semester - or just random? Advice?

    Thanks!

If you don't mind, how long did it take for you to hear from SNHU after you applied?

I have applied for Adjunct Faculty position with SNHU and received a reply. I have been asked to provide more info on my expertise in teaching (something called Forms, I needed to fill out). I sent them this info today. Can you provide some info on what your experience was with teaching at SNHU, what to expect for new adjuncts ?

    Thanks!

I taught one course. Not impressed, and won't accept another course from them. Courses were poorly designed and filled with errors. Also, waaaaaaay too much work for the students. Grades suffer because students had to pick which assignments they thought they could actually complete on time. Also, constant training requirements for faculty. Unfortunately, that training is just as canned and assembly line as the student courses. Probably OK if you are trying to get DL teaching experience. But, I have too many options at this point to spend time on SNHU. 7 years ago, I would have stuck with them just for experience.

Hi, which course did you teach if you do not mind my asking? I am considering getting a second Bachelors in Business Administration from SNHU and I certainly do not want to feel as though I have to choose which assignments to complete. Are there any syllabi available for prospective students to review as schools like Liberty provide on their websites?
