I am considering an MBA program with a B&M university. One of the requisites for admission is a satisfactory score on the GMAT, MAT, GRE or Watson-Glaser Critical Thinking Appraisal.

I have been preparing to take the GMAT next month, but the school administers the Watson-Glaser for free, and it takes about one hour to complete the test and get the results. Seems like a good deal and I ought to look at it before spending $200+ on the GMAT.

Do any of you have information about that test? I've been searching the Internet for sample questions, but have not been very successful.

    Thank you.

My simple seach on google yielded 1500 results. I assume you've gone through those. Beyond that I can only surmise that because it is a proprietary assessment instrument, you will not find "sample questions" anywhere on the net. My best suggestion is to look through the usenet groups related to psychology and psych testing and see if you can throw yourself on the mercy of some psych grad student who would be willing to clue you in to the details of this testing instrument.

Of course not  I'm googling for: "Watson Glaser" AND "Critical Thinking Test" plus some other keywords to limit the results. I got 150 and yes, I have looked at all of them. Did you had time to go through those other 1500 results? ;)

The closest hit I get tells me:

I already have a Critical Thinking book, so I won't spend time and money on that one.

    Thanks for your other suggestion.

    Passed!

Well, I took the test today and passed. It wasn't difficult, but if you put too much into it (i.e. over-analyze) you'll be in trouble.

Glad I saved money and time by avoiding the other tests.
