Anyone going to Penn State, how do you afford it?

I think we all agree a quality education could be attained from any school (well known or not) but if your field requires you to stand out one way to do that is by having a recognized school. I'll say this if my undergrad was through Harvard, Tulane (well known locally), Penn State, or any host of well known (and academically known) undergrad schools, I wouldn't be so drawn to a grad school with a big name.

It doesn't hurt that Penn State is a really great educational school as well as being known for football. :)

*EDIT* One more thing you could consider. Instead of going the full degree route is to get a undergrad or grad certificate from one of those schools. Notre Dame for instance has a few certs if I'm not mistaken. Again you'll pay but it's something to consider that might complement your degree. :)

If you are in MI, have you considered Central Michigan University and getting a graduate certificate? That is what I did for UF. During one interview the comment was jokingly made, "You went to UF and so did I, how bad can you be?"

If your heart is not set on an MPA, you can look at these
