The Annual Christian College Issue of Christian Standard (independent Christian churches and churches of Christ), dated today, has some interesting information.

    1. Cincinnati Bible College and Seminary has been granted ATS accreditation and NCA has recommended continued accreditation for another ten years.

In addition, The Ohio Board of Regents has approved CBS&S's proposal for their B.S.E. to qualify for teacher licensure in early childhood education.

    2. Dallas Christian College received approval of the Alternative Teacher Certification Program. DCC now offers 23 courses via the Internet leading to the B.A. in Ministry and Leadership.

    3. Lincoln Christian College (IL) has a goal of State of Illinois teaching certification by 2005.

    4. Manhattan Christian College (Kansas) now offers the Bachelor in Youth Ministry.

    5. Mid-South Christian College (Memphis) now offers all courses in both English and Spanish.

    6. Milligan College (Tennessee) now offers the M.B.A.

    7. Ozark Christian College (Missouri), in conjunction with Missouri Southern State University, now offers a combined Bible and nursing program.

    8. Saint Louis Christian College plans to offer programs in Teacher Education and Credentialing and degrees in Business and Sports Ministry.

    9. Winston-Salem Bible College will soon add an adult degree completion program.

While I don't know the criteria for being included in the listings, I found it interesting Summit Theological Seminary, Peru, IN, an unaccredited school, is listed.
