The buyer states she is selling 7 other courses on ebay - would they all have exam rights or would they just be course notes?

Seven courses seems a lot to have bought at one time unless full time study was intended.

One more thing, could anyone with knowledge in marketing please share the wisdom in potentially insulting at least half the potential bidders with the entry (see first paragraph)?

 

Wow, that woman seems bitter. She not only targets her husband, but all men. I wonder if her fiancee knows what she wrote?

However I suspect the real reason that she is selling her courses is that she ordered them, and realized, "hey, I actually have to do some real work for this?"

I have come across other people who have purchased courses in the past thinking DL was the easy way to get an MBA. Then they showed up to an EBS exam. After they get their failure result, they sell remaining courses, and give up or transfer to an easier program.

I bought 2 courses on eBay for a great deal. This brought my total cost for my MBA to under $8,000. You can still register for the exam as long as they have the green sheets with them.

 

So, would I be wrong if I guessed you're male? Heaven forbid she could be just tellin' it like it is; that her fiance is an insecure dolt -- maybe even a misogynist -- who couldn't handle her having an MBA when he, perhaps, has just a BA or BS... if that. That couldn't possibly be the reason... is that what you're saying? There has to be a real reason, doesn't there -- something other than what she wrote? And said real reason would have to be that she's just lazy... do I have it about right?

If I were a woman, I sweartogod, I would definitely be a lesbian... and edowave's kind of attitude is but one of the many reasons why.

For what it's worth, edowave, I hopetogod you're right... because if I'm right, then that marriage is already off to the wrong start; and will almost certainly result in great sadness and divorce... especially because the woman knows what she's doing. That's a big thing to suppress. I say, if they stay together, that she'll kill him in his sleep about 20 years from now. Mark my words.

 

But if all men were like that, would that mean that every female university lecturer/professor was either single or married to another lecturer/professor? Why tar everyone with the same brush?
Why accuse every person who fits a certain category of being incompetant if one can find one that is.

Someone as successful as Baroness Thatcher could never have been married. Someone allegedly asked him who wore the trousers in the Thatcher houshold, and he is said to have responded "I do. And I wash and iron them too."

Well there is nothing wrong with more lesbians.

I didn't mean to imply she is lazy because she was a woman. Gender was actually the furthest thing from my mind. My reply was meant towards people (men and women) who think DL is the "easy" way to a degree. I've had to deal with this from co-workers, HR people, professors from various universities, and people in the public in general.

I was probably a bit hasty and jumped to a conclusion before I knew all the facts. (not like that is something new on this board) I have since emailed the seller and asked her about her situation and she was very kind enough to reply to me.

I won't mention what she said because that was a private email, and it isn't even necessary. One can just look at history as a guide and see there are many reasons in this world why a woman would marry someone she isn't 100% into or with obvious flaws.

 

So the lady accuses her husband of having a weak little ego. It's going to take a little bit more than that to bruise my fragile male ego.
