I've just enrolled in Amberton's graduate program (MS Human Relations/Business) and have registered for 2 classes. Can any current Amberton learners or graduates tell me if 9 hrs are doable over ten weeks if I work part time? Also, what was your experience in taking 3 classes? Thanks for your help. Trish :-
I don't attend Amberton, so feel free to ignore this as irrelevant, but I take three online courses at GW while working full time and I have a family. The big question is how good you are at time management. If you're good at it, I'd think you could take three if you're working part time without a problem. If not, then I wouldn't recommend it. Good luck, -=Steve=-
Like Steve, I don't attend Amberton, but... I work full time and have a family, and I am taking 9 credits (3 classes) online at St. Pete College. I just recently added two more classes from LSU to my load, bringing my classes to 5 and credits to 15 (however, the LSU classes are self-paced).
It is possible Trishbee, It is possible, but obviously the answer would be you and your work/study habits. It is a great school, and 9 units is very workable. Check out www.Degreeforum.com the forum section, for several threads on Amberton, and the various Masters programs. Good luck.
