They understand that our rights are God given and no man can take them away from us. We are all equal under God. This does not mean that we all have the same bank account balances, however. Obviously John Locke and Adam Smith are not Americans as the founding fathers were quoting them and integrating their ideas into the Declaration of Independence and the US Constitution.

I do agree with you that there are some racial and sexual elements in play here, but I see less of a racially-driven ideology as a politically-driven ideology. Some of the outcomes may be de facto racist, but I'm not sure that is the intent.

Conservative political ideology, however, almost takes it as an article of faith that the only thing that separates one person from another is hard work, denying entrenched, systemic disadvantages for those of lesser financial means or class, minority race, or female gender.

Liberal political ideology, however, sometimes seems to deny the ability of individual effort to overcome disadvantages. Much like a hammer's viewing everything as a nail, if one is sensitive to discrimination, one can find it almost everywhere, even when it isn't clearly there.

The truth is a mixture of both.

It you think it is not here in this tread then you are the one with the problem. The worst defense is to say that there are evidence and both sides to justified each person position.
