Having lived in Florida, I can report that doesn't mean you can't get a boob job. I remember one Christian woman who explained, "When I die, they'll be pointing straight up at heaven!" -=Steve=-
Tool Time Girl? Never liked Pam Anderson. This gal was much better on Home Improvement. Can Pam do this? YouTube - Debbie Dunning breast tic
LOL!!!! I turn 40 next week, are you kidding me!?! Feel free to LAVISH the complements Her surgery doesn't bother me really, because she is a celebrity, and I think that if you play that game- you should play it well. It just kinda goes with the territory. Generically though, I think the average woman spending her kid's college fund so she can get a boob job and lipo (lol, this JUST happened with a family friend) is pretty pathetic.
I think you are right cook, I also think that those that are blessed with significant wealth should generally spend the excess on making the world a better place (or their kids I guess ^-~), not cosmetic surgery. This is barely related, but.... I was reading Forbes magazine today and it had an article on the difference in mindset between the "middle class millionaire" and the "mega rich". I found four or five very dangerous and offensive, especially the one where they contrast the "everybody wins/empathy" mindset of the "middle class" vs "creating and exploiting weakness in all circumstances and ignoring pleas for fairness/empathy". I'm serious, I'm not exaggerating, there was an article condoning that behavior in Forbes magazine and that was just one of suggestions. Not only is this bad advice, but according to the article, the vast bulk of the mega rich that control this world have that mentality. I know that's a little off topic but I was very disturbed from reading this article.
This doesn't surprise me, but only because I don't think it's on purpose. I do think some people are wired in a way that RESULTS in them being very entrepreneurial thus mega rich. There was an article referenced here a while back about the utility of bachelor's degrees that essentially said a degree was irrelevant, that there are some people you could have put in a box for 4 years and they'd still come out and be successful. They just have that mentality. I think this is true. I think the converse is true too, you can give some people all of the resources, but their mindset/attitude/drive/personality is flawed. They self-defeat. I know people in both camps
Most of the middle-aged and older friends that I have look great without makeup, whereas most middle-aged celebrities look like trash. Why? I can only guess, but I think it comes down to environmental and nurturing factors. Celebrities are constantly under stress, are rarely removed from time constraints, have trouble keeping solid relationships with people, are prone to vice and excess and are often sleep deprived. Compare that to my friends, who do not smoke and take everything else in moderation, have great long-lasting friendships etc, etc, etc, and the mystery may be solved. By the way, to be honest, I don't find very many famous women to be attractive. Their appearance tends to fall into women's generalizations about what they seem to think men find attractive, as opposed to the reality of what we find attractive, which is vastly different.
Nice! When your husband takes you out for a nice B-day dinner, post a pic of you in your stilletos, hot dress, etc. I agree, I think you are hot as well. I say this being a happily married man who has a beautiful redhead sitting at home. Abner
I think this is so normal. You can resist a 11 year old from viewing this and it should not be resist after all. They can watch even more offensive things just by clicking their mouse button. Adult contents are so available now.
You guys are a riot. BTW, he is taking me out TONIGHT to see the Scorpions. (which kinda shows my age but oh well lol!!) But I assure you there will be no hot dress, I'm wearing my 1987 concert T from my last Scorps concert Here I am!!
!!! ROCK YOU LIKE A HURRICANE! *ba-da...da,da,da....* I'm jealous. --------- @ Cooks older post: I think you're right to an extent about mentality. I'm just a bit disturbed that a magazine like Forbes is actually trying to teach people to have a truly selfish approach.
