Adam Smith University is back. It had disappeared for a while. It was once listed in Bear's Guide College Degrees by Mail: 100 Good Schools that offer Bachelors's and law degrees by Home study but later was seen as a degree mill by Steve Levicoff and others. It had offered degrees from Bachelors to doctorates in many subjects. It now only offers 4 Bachelor's degrees. I don't see that the Founder , Donald Grunewald, is still connected to it. I give them points for transparency: "Adam Smith University is seeking to be recognized by the Accreditation Council of Trinidad and Tobago as a Post Secondary Institution in accordance with Chapter 39:06." So basically they are a LLC. Not sure how they have a .edu domain unless it was a legacy operation.
Fascinating. I wonder why they chose to try their luck there, as it's not known as the easiest place for outsiders to do business. It is: their domain name goes back to 1998.
If Donald Grunewald is still alive, I believe he'd be in his 90's at this point. It's not impossible that he's still active, but that's not the way I'd bet.
