Apart from the Big 3 are there any others that allow most, if not all, credits for an AA from tests ?

    Hi,
There are some schools allowing 45/60 credit hours (75%) to be earned through CLEP/DSST/ETC. Indiana SCS is one of them.

I don't think any schools except the 'big 3' allow much more than that. Maybe WGU does. You might find a school requiring only 12 credits in coursework. But 75% seems to be a de facto maximum.

I've just passed the 5 CLEP General tests and I'm looking at my options. I dont really want to take the Excelsior English or deal with the Charter Oak Research requirement, so I suppose I'm looking for the path of least resistance !

I was a bit concerned about the Research requirement also. I did not want to take a class that would not meet this group and it did not seem very clear-cut.

I was able to meet the Research requirement by taking an ECE exam. Now COSC has a 1 credit class, ENG102A, that meets the Research requirement. It is a five-week class and looks pretty easy.
" It encompasses the basic elements of research, culminating in a short research paper of approximately 5-6 pages"

If you were in the military, you can get an AA from the University of Phoenix. They required me to take one class, ELM299, which was a writing class. The rest were military credits and CLEP credits.
