I've posted sporadically on DI for many years and just read that Steve Levicoff passed away earlier this year. Steve was indeed a unique individual. His book, Name-It-Frame-It, was my introduction into the world of degree mills, accreditation mills, and all-things-distance-learning. Needless to say, I am grateful to Steve for his contributions to the field of DL. That said, I've always been curious why I never came across a picture of Steve. It was almost as though he lived off the grid. Any DI posters ever seen a picture of Steve?
For as open as Steve was about much of his life (his education journey, being Jewish, being gay), he was also a public enigma in a lot of ways. I looked for years to find a photo of him (just because I was curious), and was never able to find one. I have my own perception of what he looked like, but have no idea if it's remotely accurate.
