No it wasn't. That was a lie he told to cover his butt. With the full context of the press conference, the most likely scenario is that he fumbled his way though an explanation of some scientific research that he didn't understand, and probably confused several different topics and jumbled them together into an incoherent mess.

There is a bit of context to Trump's statements that is missing when people say he suggested injecting bleach. He was asked follow-up questions in this same press conference and he specifically said that he wasn't talking about household cleaners being given as injections into human bodies. Although, he never did fully explain what he was even talking about to begin with.

When Trump looked at Dr. Deborah Birx trying to get some confirmation on his proposal to inject bleach, if he had one iota of empathy he would have noticed that she looked shocked and wanted to crawl under a rock to hide. :(

PR. Trump later like next day said it was sarcasm, and I personally interpreted it that way too.
But objectively, the original delivery didn't appear sarcastic and some bate it.

Yes, I don't think anyone was disputing that Donald Trump lied that it was just sarcasm. That is his go to response later whenever he's put his foot in his mouth like that.

Imagine if Biden made remarks like that.

Mango Mussolini said that Tylenol might be the cause of autism, and even brain worm felt the need to walk that claim back. Reportedly, Agent Orange also proposed bombing hurricanes multiple times during his first term.

If a big hurricane was heading right to Mar-a-lago and we could evacuate everyone around Mar-a-lago and Trump would stay in Mar-a-ago then that might be the only time it might be good to try nuking a hurricane. Of course the people living around there might not be able to return home for a few decades until the radiation dissipated to safe levels. On second thought, let's add that idea to the same pile of ideas that injecting bleach is on and only bring it up for the amusement value.

FFS, Lerner - he was not tourist. He was invited for business talks, by organizations that are functionally arms of the KGB. What was their interest, Lerner? Were they suddenly overcame by enterpreneural spirit, eager to expand into international show business and hospitality? For this once, business interests won over ideology and Gosbezopasnost' ("state security", with the distinct KGB flavor)? Or did they try but found Donald freaking Trump uncorruptible and immune to psychological manipulation (again, unlike the rest of his very public life)?

Not in the legal sense, no. But this doesn't have to turn us into morons, unable to see the plainly obvious.

In Ohio, in my local area, we had nothing to vote for except our School Levy which always fails. We haven’t had a yes vote on a school levy since 2011. Everything else on my ballot was unopposed. Even our School board… we had three candidates for three seats. Next year we have an opportunity to vote the MAGA cult out of office, but I don’t know how it will turn out. It hasn’t been good. We voted in snakes like JD Vance and Bernie Moreno.

So after Donald Trump met with Mamdani today Trump stated that Mamdani would be a good mayor of NYC. They seemed to get along very well. Trump even defended Mamdani saying he wasn't a Jihadist as the Fox article claimed.

More evidence that Fox is in fact a Questionable Source, as labeled by MediaBiasFactCheck.com. That Fox article was just spreading ridiculous lies. Fox is filling their viewers heads with BS.

    Well, we will see.
I don't think the issue of Islamists was discussed.
Or the 100 year plan by Muslim Brotherhood.
But if the outcome more secure NY, and more affordable NY, than it's good.
Fox touched on a different aspects.l, and those issues still exist. Maybe this meeting which I watched will calm the panic, especially the fear that there will be less police protection.
So we will see how it will evolve.
Cooperation between Fed and NY to improve the city is better than conflict.
One area that may clash is ICE raids in NY.

Neo-Nazi leader admits plot to give poisoned candy to Jewish kids in New York
Prosecutors said they would seek a sentence of up to 18 years for Michail Chkhikvishvili, a 22-year-old from the Republic of Georgia who goes by the nickname “Commander Butcher.”

Chkhikvishvili planned a New Year's Eve 2023 attack involving someone dressed as Santa Claus handing out poison-laced candy to children, particularly targeting Jewish kids in Brooklyn. He provided detailed instructions on how to carry out the attack, including the use of poison materials and later shifted focus to target Jewish schools and communities. The federal prosecutors are seeking a sentence of up to 18 years for him.Chkhikvishvili also admitted to distributing information about making bombs and ricin and bragged about violent acts including assaulting an elderly Jewish man. His group’s extremist ideology and actions have been linked to real-world violent incidents, including a deadly school shooting in Nashville in 2025 and an attack in Turkey. He was arrested in Moldova in July 2024, then extradited to the United States in May 2025

Pre-Mamdani? You mean under staunch zionist and Trump ally Eric Adams?

So you actually believed the nonsense spread in that Fox article!!

The Fox was 100% on, I spoke with RE agents and the panic was real, they had years worth of work lined up.
But the last week development is action takem by Mamdani appointments that signal hope.

Being a Zionist is something to be proud of.
It simply means recognizing the historic and national connection of the Jewish people to Jerusalem and their right to live in their homeland.
Just as Catholics feel deep reverence for the Vatican, Jews feel the same toward Zion — which is another name for Jerusalem, and non Jews supporters as well.

That’s a very different worldview from someone who openly supported the “global intifada,” which calls for confrontation and violence. New York electing a mayor who once aligned himself with that kind of rhetoric is a legitimate concern for many people.

The antisemitism you reference is not happening under Mamdani, it is happening under Eric Adams. A man who ran on protecting Jewish people and supporting Israel.
