Well, here is the link..... many asked why I would go to GGSB when they are not AACSB, and I can answer now - THEY ARE.... it is official!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! http://www.aacsb.edu/knowledgeservices/omd2/Profile.asp?id=12455 Anyway, it should all make sense now. Doctorate... DL....limited residency... AACSB.... YEAH!
That is good news. However... isn't your degree going to come from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne?
Nope, this one is awarded by GGSB - it is not on their website and not that joint degree on their website. It is a pilot program, all american students, if you want details PM Denver Mullican. He has a website and information. Thanks Denver!!!!
This is great news. I took the GGSB website down for the holidays to update it - but if anyone wants any information just PM me and I will send it. Or you can email me at [email protected]
I know that the only way I would have met Denver (and GGSB) is through Degree info, so I am grateful to this forum, and though will be busy, will check in for what I can contribute.
The AACSB website shows the following under newly accredited: http://www.aacsb.edu/accreditation/new-accred.asp Grenoble Ecole de Management undergraduate, master's University of British Columbia undergraduate, master's, doctoral University of Strathclyde undergraduate, master's, doctoral University of St. Gallen undergraduate, master's, doctoral Looks like the doctoral degree from Grenoble is not AACSB accredited. Is this something they are planning to achieve in the near future? Regardless, congratulations on being accepted to such a fine school. Good luck!!
AACSB accredits departments, not one particular program - the business department and all degrees coming from that department is accredited. AACSB have them in their system as a undergrad and master's program only - another mistake. When someone searches they can find the school (under knowledge management) based on their needs (of program). Unfortunately there are MANY schools that are wrong in their system. Some schools that don't have a graduate program, they have them classified as having one, and vise versa. (Making the entire funciton on the website useless). I have contacted them, and they confirmed their accreditation of my program. I used to e-mail them when I found a mistake, when I was looking for a MBA program, but they never did anything about it, so I don't even bother anymore. It is unfortunate that they don't care.
