I have recently been having some problems with the School of Law at University of Northumbria. I email the school about 2 months ago asking to be sent an information package about the DL LLM program. After waiting a month and not receiving anything I email the school again asking them what had happened to my information package. Someone from the school email be back telling me that they will send me the information I requested right away. It's been two months now since I contacted the school and I still have not received anything from them. Is this school alway this unprofessional? Has anyone else had smiler problems with Northumbria? Bo
Hello again Bo, Northumbria U at Newcastle tries hard in certain areas - I used to see them a lot out here in the Middle East. I even had personnel who worked for me in the UK some years ago doing day-release part time degrees with them, and never had any real problems. Also, I see that Law at Northumbria is rated Excellent - but then maybe they don't know of your experience ..... It rates more highly overall than Huddersfield U. in the Sunday Times rankings as well - but then if you get better responses from Huddersfield, maybe that's a sign !!! If Huddersfield are keen to get you, read the tea leaves ..... Cheers, Neil
Hi Neil, Thanks for you're input. I have done some research into this and law at Northumbria is rated a lot better then it is at Huddersfield. So I was leaning more towards getting my LLM from Northumbria. However I am really upset and turned off about the way I was treated by Northumbria. Also Huddersfield has went into a partnership with Holborn College and they will be releasing some new DL LLM programs in 2004. So I am cruises to see what they are going to come up with. Bo
I have no response also..... Outstanding and timely response from: Nottingham Trent U. Nottingham School of Law Wolverhampton School of Law and University of New England NSW, Australia Peace
