Does an Associates count as a legitimate college degree? :D

Hey Dennis. Actually I am just getting started out in the fine world of tertiary education.

I will be enrolling in a Diploma program in Justice Administration with the Open Learning Institute of TAFE based in Australia.

Upon completing that program I will pursue a formal degree program.

P.S. THIS POST SHOULD BE APPEARING AFTER THE POST OF DENNIS RUHL.

    WHAT IS GOING ON?

I currently have 3 degrees, with more to (hopefully) come.

You really should see Dennis Huber's CV. :D

In addition to the degrees listed below I have recently completed a Graduate Certificate in Theology from the Australian Catholic University.

I have three degrees as well (same levels as Bruce') with one more in process. Anyone interested in seeing the list of Dr. Huber's academic accomplishments could probably find the list by combing through the aed archives at google.

    Bruce,
Your memory serves you well..those are the religious credentials that are not listed on his faculty bio page.

Right now I have only one accredited degree, the B.S.

I am working on a DETC accredited M.S.

Am awaiting final approval for accredited D.Th.

Have two unaccredited (Th.M. and Ph.D.) state licensed degrees

Working on unaccredited (M.Div.) state licensed degree

May pursue M.A. in NT from Johnson Bible College

Have a few totally worthless, unaccredited degrees from less-than-reputable schools (the old days)

Have 21 graduate hours (Augusta State Univ. and Earlham Sch. of Religion)

BTW, is there a limit on how long credits earned may be transferred? The 21 hours were from 1977 to 1982.

While I might be mistaken, I believe that this listing is incomplete. My long-term memory is telling me that Dr. Huber has more than one doctoral degree. Keep checking!

IIRC, besides the listed degrees, Dennis has a B.A. in a religious field (Lee University?) and a M.A.R. and M.Div. from Liberty University. I believe the D.B.A. and J.D. are his only doctoral degrees.

I have all of one degree, a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. I feel like such a slacker here.

    Just two.

At one point I contemplated earning a doctorate. But then I entered my existential crisis phase and decided that a Ph.D. is kind of pointless for me, since I have no ambition to teach.

So right now I'm satisfied with a masters degree. Instead of pursuing another formal degree program, I'll probably combine informal study (DL or otherwise) with a more formal religious practice.

I usually have 98.6, but sometimes more.

Only kidding, I just have the one, but I'm working on another.
