If you're talking motor vehicle license then yes, go with the above. However, if you're talking about a CDL then you'll want to check out the nationally accredited (DETC) "National Training, Inc.". Their website is http://www.truckschool.com. Most of it can be completed at a distance. Of course (and obviously) you have to come to their training centers so that you can actually drive a truck.

    Best of luck,

    Captain Uno

    Thanks

Good Morning and thank you. I am doing the search to see if there is a way to get an endorsement in Drivers Ed. and Health to get into the public school system. Hille

East Carolina University offers it through DL as an add on certificate/endorsement for licensed teachers.

You can also go to www.ecu.edu, then click the "Distance Learning" link and then the "Programs and Courses" link to see everything they offer, including this program.

Re: College Certificate in Drivers Ed

    Hi Hille,

I believe Minot State University offers an online certificate program in drivers ed.
U of Nebraska - Kearney also offers one, but the program may only be for Nebraska residents. Still, couldn't hurt to check.
U of Wisconsin - Stout also offers a correspondence based program. However, it requires one 3 to 5 hour meeting per semester based course available in remote sites thoughout Wisconsin.

    Good luck,
    Tony
