I don't take notes. And for my 1st class a book was not needed. I used a printer to print out the websites and also the lesson modules. There is an assignment due every week along with a reflective journal entry. I can do the assignment in about 3-4 hours maximum. There is a discussion board and you are required to log in 4 times a week.
For my next class I needed a book but I took the ISBN and ordered it from Half. com.

Sorry if I'm asking so many questions!
What do you mean by websites and lesson modules? I'm just trying to get a better idea of what its going to be like :D

Lesson modules are the weekly assignments. They list pertinent websites and also what are assignments are. It also lists the discussion questions we need to post about.
Web-sites supplies the information we are learning about. For example: How to write an IEP or State Standards for Teaching etc.

    Great!
I'm already a certified teacher, so I will be taking different courses than the normal Sped program. What about you you?

Do you plan to attend the actual graduation ceremony in Phoenix when you are finished?

I am not a certified teacher. That is what I like about the program, you don't have to be in Education to go into the program. I will have to do a semester of student teaching.
I live in WI so I don't plan to go to the graduation.
