Tuition is a straight 32.28 Euro per credit, for doctoral research courses.. (Not much!)
Found no info for any other type of doctoral courses. Maybe those are the only coursework??

Just as a heads up to those curious about Open University of Catalonia:

I have tried several times over the years to use their contact form to get information about their official masters degrees, only to receive automated emails in Catalan. While I could read most of the email contents, they were just general information messages. Further attempts to reach out were, unfortunately, ignored.

It's a shame as several of the programs look super interesting, and the courses are supposedly offered in English!

 

The site does not provide clear information. I am interested in the Doctorate Program Business and Management in the partnership with UPC, UPM, and UPCT. Are these programs Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.)?

Sembla que els professors parlen anglès però els administradors només parlen català. (It looks like the professors speak English but the administrators speak only Catalan.)

 

Catalan is really a great language - Spanish French, a bit of Portuguese-ish, all in a sort of Romance Stew. And speaking of Catalan cooking -- it's amazing. I had a boss once - not a Catalan, but one of his principal hobbies was Catalan cooking. He made a sofregit (home-made tomato sauce) to die for. He was also an excellent guitarist. I hear he still is. He's much younger - and smarter than I am...
but isn't everybody?

 

I suspected the same, Johann. Yet, it was a disappointment as their website is fully trilingual, so I had held out hope that the admissions team might be able to speak English and to offer more than templated emails.

 

I wonder - if you asked your questions in Google Catalan - might you get a more suitable (non-template) reply?
