San Francisco officials are calling for more police and more security after several fights

"Over the past couple of weeks, there have altercations between young folks at Stonestown mall resulting in physical injuries," District 7 Supervisor Myrna Melgar posted on Twitter on Sunday.

Teens still go to the mall?

That video wasn't mobs clashing. That was one mob of 20+ people beating on a single person. After several dozen haymakers, cheapshots, and stomps, the guy was still standing. Which is a testament to either how tough he is, or how inept the mob was at fighting.

I believe a serious re-thinking about policing is in order. I also think our law enforcement capabilities need to be strong enough to handle violent and dangerous situations, things that SHOULD be in the police department's wheelhouse.

    These are not incompatible.

I looked this video up on Foxnews.com. I was wondering what day it actually happened. The store that it happened in. How old the kids were. etc. I did find the video on Fox News. The only relevant information provided was in the title.

Well obviously it wasn't teen mobs. It was a beat down on one individual by a mob. I don't know if it was even a mall. It looked like a Target store that was closing down.

Fox News probably just pulled the video off of the Internet is my guess. They are not really a news organization. They are currently being sued by a producer on the Tucker Carlson show. She makes the exact same statement.

Oh, if it's just something from Fox Noise, then never mind.

I spent just a couple more minutes on this. Probably way more than what Fox News researchers put into it.

The shelves in the video are very sparsely stocked so I assume they are in the process of closing the store. I noticed a red Target symbol on an aisle endcap. My thought was to do a search of Target store closings in San Francisco Bay area. The only thing I found was this.

It appears that this video is apparently over a year old. At least the above article is from two years ago. I guess it could have been from a totally different area not even San Francisco. That would make Fox's title line completely bogus. Although if it was at one of the two stores listed in the article then the mall part is apparently false.
