S. Korea considering proposal for 69-hour work week

    GDP per capita is not income, and it doesn't describe affordability. Yes, South Korea has come a long way in development, but their population is shrinking, and women there are extremely unhappy. A birth rate of 0.78 is crazy low and record breaking.

    It's just a measure to compare the relative economies of nations. I didn't say anything about income or affordability or happiness. But it does show how remarkable South Korea's growth was (and is), along with an indication of why.
