@Johann and I were talking over in the Bircham International thread about starting a new place to share all of the English-language título propio offerings and the associated schools & universities. So here we go!

We all know the big name that started us all off: ENEB!

Escuela de Negocios Europea de Barcelona (European Business School of Barcelona)
Degrees Issued by Universidad Isabel I
    Fields of Study: Business
Programs: MBA, Master in Big Data, etc.
    Website: https://www.eneb.com/

    Johann also shared about SAERA:

School of Advanced Studies, Research and Accreditation
Degrees Issued by Universidad Isabel I
Fields of Study: Neuroscience, Audiology, Optometry, Speech & Language Therapy
Programs: Master in Speech-Language Pathology and Learning Difficulties, Master in Applied Neuroscience - Speciality in Neurological Speech Therapy, Diploma in Dyslexia and Literacy Disorders, etc.
    Website: https://www.saera.eu/en/
In a recent thread, I shared about the Agora programs:

    Agora School of Business
    Degrees Issued by UCAM
    Fields of Study: Business
    Programs: MBA
    Website: https://www.asb.ac/mba-program/

    Holy Transfiguration College, Agora University
    Degrees Issued by UCAM
    Fields of Study: Theology
Programs: Master of Theology, Master of Theological Studies
    Website: https://htc.agora.ac/

(Caveat lector: the UCAM agreements state that some programs result in an official degree, others in a título propio. You may need to contact UCAM directly for details on which programs result in which degree.)

That's it for now, but what other programs and schools are you all familiar with? Share below!

    Hello!

You could list every Spanish propio degree; the translation function of a standard webbrowser is usually good enough to understand everything if your Spanish is lacking (and the virtual learning environment of euroinnova even has a built-in translation function)!!

Anyway, I mentioned this one elsewhere, but hey... https://elle.education/en/

    Best regards,
    Mac Juli

Thanks, Mac. I was looking for it, but ESHE stands for SO many other things. Good job!

Hey, I am a regular customer there! - Well, onwards...

This site got a lot of flak. If it is deserved or not is not mine to decide, as I am NOT a customer, regular or not, there: https://www.techtitute.com/us/

SO TRUE! Formerly, I wouldn't have believed it possible for a person with no Spanish to complete a Spanish language University program. Now I know different. I know you have "walked the walk" with pretty well zero Spanish and can now "Talk enough of the talk" to succeed. Great job - and may many others follow in your footsteps!

Incredible range of courses. They have EVERYTHING. And I see no other school mentioned except Tech University itself (which I've never previously heard of.) The degrees I saw come directly from Tech U. so they say. I looked at Faculty names and the couple of dozen I read were all Spanish. Hate to say it, but this looks too good to be true. Hope I'm wrong... Some hype in the blurbs like "Harvard Methodologies" etc., but ads are supposed to have hype .... aren't they?

I'm going to have to look into this and see:

    (a) Who does what, as far as the degree programs and the teaching and credentialing thereof are concerned.
    (b) Why they're getting flak.
    (c) What recognition / accreditation they (or teaching partners) have - in what country.

How could I forget? Me, sanantone and Miguel... quite a party. Spanish parent corp. operates University in Mexico. Six pages. I think we're ABSOLUTELY done, on this one. Might suit others -- not me.

    Thanks, Messdiener.

I'm going to counter: I don't think you can do most Spanish-language programs using auto-translation. Google can be really, really off. DeepL is better, but not by that much. I've spent time with people who don't speak English, I barely speak their language, and they tried to use Google Translate to talk. The results were... hilarious and not at all understandable for monolingual people.

If you have a basic understanding of the language, auto translation might help. But both Google and DeepL have, at the very least, a tendency to use familiar forms of words when they should be using polite forms. They often use the wrong synonym, too. If you don't have any knowledge of the other language, you might not realize just how very wrong the translation is.

I thought as you did, Rachel. But I've seen someone succeed. Granted, someone of unusual intelligence and adept with three languages other than Spanish. And one of this person's languages is French - and the grammar isn't all that different - familiar / polite forms, etc. as you mentioned.

I should remember - if that person could do it, some others can. Not that "everybody" can. It is also obvious to me, though, that I can't continue saying "nobody" could succeed under these conditions, as I said once before. Because "somebody" has. That fact carried my enthusiasm a bit too far, I guess. A few can, many can't. Way back in another thread, when I made my original statement, "nobody can," I think I was heatedly contradicting someone who maintained anybody can, with Google and auto-translators etc. Sorry.

Short version. If "someone" does it, that doesn't prove "everybody" can. Same with the reverse - "can't do." Lesson for Johann.

Comparison is the thief of joy. I keep having to remind myself.

I remind myself of that by looking in the mirror. All joy stolen, instantly! :)

As I am wont to say, you go to a university to get an education and a degree. It would appear these schools delivering propio degrees offer the former. The latter seems to be more limited. As Johann noted, the need for a foreign credential evaluation might trip you up. But at least you know the degree won't bring embarrassment as would one from a degree mill blowing up.

As John Bear has been cautioning people since the 1970s: Be as sure as possible the degree you seek will meet your present and future needs.
