Did the University of Phoenix ever offer a Ph.D. program? I came across this interview with Jamaica's richest woman, who lists Ph.D. on her LinkedIn. However, the articles I read about her only state a doctorate in management and organizational leadership. I am assuming it's the DM program?! https://www.blackenterprise.com/former-uconn-track-athlete-whos-also-the-richest-woman-in-jamaica-makes-largest-athletic-donation-in-university-history/#:~:text=Her%20current%20net%20worth%20is,plans%20to%20build%20a%20resort. https://www.linkedin.com/in/trisha-bailey-ph-d-mba-cfa-fnclnt-ba24b4150/
I am more interested in the CFA post-nominal letters she has listed on her LinkedIn. I looked her up on the CFA institute website and didn’t see anybody with the same or a similar name who currently holds a CFA charter. Don’t get me wrong, I am not saying you should list a PhD when you more likely than not have a DMan or DBA, but that is a decidedly smaller error than potentially inventing a high level qualification in finance in my opinion.
Honestly, who knows. She state that a "University of PhoenixUniversity of Phoenix Doctorate, Finance and Financial Management ServicesDoctorate, Finance and Financial Management Services" I have seen lot of people doing this, saying they have a Ph.D. in their LinkedIn profile; but they have a DM, DBA, DSc, DEng, etc.
