Late last night and into very early this morning. A family member received several hateful texts which were meant for me as the intended recipient is addressed as 'Chuckles.' The intended recipient is apparently a 'brain-damaged Trump supporter. Yes, I'm sure that's me too. The language used was beyond vulgar. The anger seems to regard President Trump and is told to expect their own indictment The texts were received from two different numbers. One from Sag Harbor, New York, and the other from Washington, DC. Please, should the person sending these texts find this commentary, send me a PM and I will provide you with my correct Mobile number and you can curse me out to your heart's desire? Not sure Law Enforcement can do anything about an emotionally immature idiot. If they cross the line into terroristic threats, harassing family members repeatedly and so on (stalking??) then you could probably report them to Law Enforcement (get a restraining order that would be on record). Sad thing is that people on the fringes of the left and right can be unhinged and seem to feel extremism is no vice in the name of their just cause. People just angrily denounce one another in hyperbole filled accusations. Politics fills a void in some people's life where perhaps deeper meaning and the search for it would have in the past.
Heck, politics has become a religion (gives meaning and identity to their lives). My party or candidate possesses all truth coupled with a tinge of narcissism that assumes I am right and correctly aligned and everyone else on the other side is either stupid or uninformed at best or evil. I don't know how many times I have seen one side or another accuse the other of destroying the democracy, anti American, and all kinds of other character flaws "unique" to that party. We justify all kinds of tactics in furtherance of our righteousness cause (even our own unrighteous behavior).
Sherlock Holmes I am not - Anything may have inspired this bizarre behavior, I suspect it was someone who at least reads this forum. I am earnest in my request for you to join me in prayer for this poor soul. I cannot imagine a life so impoverished that one would invest so much time during the wee hours trying to find a Mobile Phone number, only to communicate such vulgar hatred. I sincerely pray for this individual to find some love, joy, and laughter in his or her life.
These days, it takes about 5-10 minutes to find people online and phone numbers that are supposedly associated with said individual. Doxxing is a huge risk when using your real name online.
