Another example of why English should never have lost the grammatical semi-formal plural YOU. English does have the casual plural YOU in the form of "y'all" for some dialects, but that can be weird in writing. If it hadn't lost the plural YOU, there'd be no confusion over what LearningAddict had posted.

I don't mind using "you all" even in less casual writing if it makes the point clear. Business casual, maybe. :)

How many times have I seen "but y'all knew that, right?" on DI? And written it myself? And there's always the Brooklynese (and bent-nose guys' in general) "Youse," as Vinnie and Aldo, my book- er -- I mean my brokers, tend to use. :) I worked in a largely bilingual office for many years and I often noticed some French-Canadians there would say "youse" when speaking English. I figured it was because it was difficult to get used to having no separate English "you-plural" form -- like "vous" in French. Then again. "vous" can be singular or plural -depending on polite or familiar use. So who knows? At work, I never had time to really think about it. :)

National University of Naturopathic Medicine and Bastyr University recently signed an agreement to merge.

If they retain the first year online option for the ND from NUNM, maybe they'll allow students to complete their following three years either at the NUNM campus in Portland or at the Bastyr naturopathic program campuses in Seattle or San Diego.
