I just posted about this on the sister forum too.

I suspect this is going to be the closest we come to another free term for the Walden University Tempo MBA. I have been tracking when the free terms were offered. it's been pretty sporadic for the masters programs but with being bought out they may not offer free terms again. If anyone has been thinking about getting into the Walden Tempo MBA program this is the time to do it. The program is heavy on reading and it's essentially one large individual project per class graded by the professor, called the Subject Matter Expert (SME). The school is regionally accredited, ACBSP accredited, and has one of the highest/best graduate credit acceptance policies. I will be finishing my full MBA for about $4,500, and could have done it even cheaper by taking a different elective. You don't have to feel locked into what they put into the Tempo program outline because of the allowance for transfer credits, which is part of why my MBA will not be too expensive and will have different courses. Here's the link: https://www.waldenu.edu/online-masters-programs/master-of-business-administration

I'm not sure if more than one offer can be used at a time, I suspect not, but if anyone is looking to get the 25% lifetime savings for the refer-a-friend program, let me know and I will check into it.

If you have been at Walden for the MBA program before and dropped out, hint... re-apply.

I will be calling Monday to ask a few questions, including to verify that the $3k can be fully applied to the first term. Let me know if anyone has other questions.

The $3,000 can not be applied to one term. It is proportioned out $500 per term for six terms.

They need to put that on the same page. I literally had to go search for it. Still though, the cost savings is still worth a full term depending on how many tempo terms a person takes.
