    It's expensive. And yes, it is unaccredited. However, it's recognized by the necessary authorities for use within Catholic circles. And, let's be frank here, Catholic circles are where you would be using this degree. If your goal was to teach at a Catholic university this is likely to serve your interests much more than a doctorate from, say, Liberty University.

    Dislike it. Disagree with it. Hold your breath and say you'd never ever go to this school even if they bought you candy. But let's not suggest that this is some sort of con job that only an idiot would fall for.

    For purely theological degrees denominational affiliation can, and often is, much more important than institutional accreditation. That's just the way it is whether it is Pontifex or LBU. And this school should be far less controversial than LBU given that they are staying in their theological lane.
