As one of our long-esteemed senior members said back then, "At least they didn't call it SEXY Professional University!" :)

There's a car lot in our town called "Lovely Motor Sales" owned by - you guessed it - Indo-Canadians. I went there, looking for a good used Mahindra, Maruti or Tata - all they had were Buicks, Chevys. Fords etc. Nice people, anyway. :)

Fortunately, unanimity of humankind isn't required to use words that clearly express one's personal opinion....

I don't know why Charisma doesn't show up in the EQAR registry, but you will find this school on ACQUIN's website: https://www.acquin.org/en/institutionalaccreditation/completed-procedures/
By the way, there are only six schools on that web page, so ACQUIN's international activities seem to be extremely limited.

Aha, thank you. I'll make a few inquiries.

It would be nice if you would post the results of these inquiries here.

Yes - if you think it advisable, please do. Never a dull moment, it seems.

I notice one school was granted candidacy in one report and accredited in the next one 9 months later.

As I said on another channel, persistence is everything - and regardless of whether I like the school or not, it has shown it has persistence, in spades. TRACS is recognized US accreditation and I wouldn't be surprised to see Charisma fully accredited by TRACS within oh - maybe a year. My best guess. Per TRACS own rules, there's a maximum of five years for a Candidate institution to qualify, but I don't think the average is nearly that long.

For example, Morris Brown College in Atlanta was given Candidacy status by TRACS in April 2021. It was fully accredited in May, 2022. About a year. (Morris Brown is a 140-year old HBCU that lost its regional accreditation in 2002. It had no accreditation for 20 years, until it secured accreditation from TRACS.)

As per the above post, Rich - it's not that surprising with TRACS, as the Morris Brown College story shows. My best guess (and it's only a guess) is that Charisma will have recognized US accreditation, i.e. TRACS, in maybe a year. As I said above, persistence is everything. I also said my whole statement has nothing to do with whether I like the school or not. Or, may I add, whether or not I like the accreditor.

Tuition is 255 per credit hour at the doctoral level. Approx $15,300 for a 60 cr PhD.

They have a PsyD. I wonder how ACQUIN would be received by a US state Psychology Board for licensure (foreign school the equivalent of RA?). TRACS is a known commodity in terms of the fact that it is US based and probably wouldn't work. But what about ACQUIN (and whatever Caribbean recognition they have)?
