In contrast to Shady Schools: U.S. News & World Report Rankings

Just a shout out to one of my alma maters that offers several distance learning programs: Anderson University in South Carolina.

The US News & World Report Rankings for 2022 came out:

Anderson University ranks #44 among regional universities in the South, and was named to the publication’s “Best Undergraduate Teaching” (#15) and “Best Value” (#29) lists for 2022, and according to the email I recently got, Anderson University is enjoying the most prosperous, successful season in its 110-year history, with a record-breaking enrollment of nearly 4,000 students.

Anderson offers several Bachelor's, Certs, and Graduate degrees online:

And three FLEX degrees (competency based) in Nursing and Human Services areas.

I just wanted to put in a plug for a college that doesn't show up on anyone's radar - I found it by complete accident when I was looking for M.S. IDLT programs. I'm glad I did.

 

Interesting. Anderson has a new Master of Service and Public Administration that based on their other Master's programs, is probably around $12K/$13K. That's rock bottom.

 

I think my IDLT program was around 12K, and my employer covered about 2/3's of it in reimbursement. It's hard to say with the MSPA program, it may be up more in the 15K range - their per credit costs vary a bit per program.
