The good news is that 99% of the public does not even know what ACBSP or AACSB is. Heck, my wife did her BSBA and up until I told her, had no idea what accreditation was or what body accredited her business school program. Then again, she also said she could care less so long as she got a good paying job afterwards, which she did. I think it has been said before on this forum that the only people who even pay attention to programmatic accreditation for the most part are those of us on this forum and others not on it who have a true interest in higher education.
I'd like to suggest the creation of a new parent accreditor, the Inter-American Academic Accreditor of Authority on Authentic College Schools of Business Program Education. IAAAAACSBPE will combine the best parts of AACSB, ACBSP, and IACBE (the best parts being the letters A, B, C, E, I, P and S.)
That's awesome, a bit too lengthy for a name... but I guess many 'fake' schools may want to register with you! I can hear the cash registers go on all day!
